VRE gives disaster-ravaged areas supplies to get them back on their feet and assists, when possible, in rebuilding schools and community centers.
History

VRE started providing disaster relief in 1999, after a crippling flood surged through Vietnam. Since then, the organization has branched out into other projects. We provide loans for pig and goat raising, build schools and fund medical missions. Your support can make this happen.
Medical

VRE brings doctors and dentists to impoverished villages to provide medical checkups and advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Schools

VRE builds and expands schools throughout central and southern Vietnam to provide children with a better chance at learning, and at life.
Self-sustaining Projects

VRE believes in giving people the tools to improve their lives for the long term. We provide loans for pig and goat raising to help raise Vietnamese families and communities out of poverty.

Vietnam Relief Effort is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that seeks to bring aid to impoverished regions of Vietnam through microfinance, education and disaster funding. We aim to make a long-term difference in the lives of the Vietnamese. That means, when possible, we will give people the tools and knowledge they need to improve their lives. We welcome your suggestions and support.

Welcome to the new home of Vietnam Relief Effort.
