This ‘medical mission’ in October 2008 was the first time VRE brought doctors, dentists and nurses to treat students at schools VRE had built.

We started out with on of our first schools – Phu Tan school in Tien Giang province. The first day alone, we treated more than 600 kids. Students received medicine, toothpaste, vitamins and school supplies.

We began this initiative because we want to care holistically for Vietnam’s children. And a healthy child is happier, and more able to learn.
