This one-room kindergarten, built in 2007, will benefit 80 children its first year, hundreds thereafter.

It is becoming more and more common for Vietnamese children to attend kindergarten. First and foremost, it prepares young children for primary school.

Additionally, creating a school for younger children makes it less likely that older siblings will be pulled from their own classes to care for younger brothers or sisters during the day, while their parents are working.
