We believe that education helps build the foundation for Vietnam's future. That's why VRE builds and expands schools in impoverished regions, giving kids a better chance at learning, and at life. The schools we replace often have crumbling foundations and contain asbestos. Others have leaky ceilings making school attendance during the rainy season impossible. In many regions, schools may be few and far between.

VRE has built classrooms serving thousands in impoverished regions in central and southern Vietnam. We have also provided hundreds of scholarships and bikes to needy children. Your support goes a long way, as a one-room schoolhouse costs only $6,000 to $8,000 to build.
